Our Care Philosophy

Green Beagle Lodge exists to provide the very best in pet care for your furry family member. Our 5-star approach is always to identify the individual needs of each pet to ensure they get what they need to stay, play, train and groom with us. We care about each individual canine and feline guest like they’re one of our own!

Clean

We work each day to keep our facility clean, sanitized and odor free so your pet is safe and comfortable in their home away from home. Our play yards are sanitized every day,

Green

We protect and preserve our natural resources by reclaiming rainwater to fill our pool, clean our floors, and flush our toilets. Sun tunnels allow us to turn off the lights and enjoy the natural Carolina sunshine. Even our artificial turf is recycled from soccer and football fields from around the country!

Safe

We consider safety our highest priority. Our facility and programs are designed to keep your pet physically and emotionally healthy while they play and stay with us. We follow a strict 1:10 ratio for all play yards, and our team of expert pack leaders are thoroughly trained in pet behaviors and health.

Fun

Why not? Dogs need to be dogs (Kitties too!) and we provide a stimulating atmosphere that allows our guests to play and have fun. From pool and sprinkler play, to throwing toys and climbable structures, our yards are equipped to stimulate and engage every pet.

Our facility was built with your pet in mind. Indoors, our enclosures provide a comfortable space for our guests to rest. Each space is climate controlled and equipped with cozy Kuranda beds to give them the perfect place to catch up on some much needed rest.

For our feline friends, we have custom made enclosures designed to give an outward facing view of the world, ledges to perch on, and ample space to move around and get comfortable.

Outside, our large turfed yards give your pups the perfect place to let loose and find their inner dog. Our pool and other water features give them a place to cool off while other toys give them a chance to chase, fetch, frolic or socialize with friends.

Knowledgeable, caring, and friendly staff! Each person clearly loves animals and takes pride in their job. The facilities are clean and well maintained. My dog loves going to daycare and comes home tired and happy.

GBL took great care of my dog this past weekend. She was having some stomach issues, and I knew I could trust them to take care of her and keep me informed of any issues that arose while she was there. They gave me a full pup-date after her stay and let me know all was well. The facility is modern and clean, and the staff are excellent! I highly recommend them for boarding your pet.

Our recent rescue dog spent three nights here and she is so shy and not socialized, I was so worried. I almost cried when she greeted us with near confidence when we picked her up. They sent cute pictures - one with her tongue out and without her usual worried brow. I signed her up for regular day visits with socialization training because this visit went so well.

Green Beagle is such a wonderful place! I wouldn't trust my dog anywhere else. Matilda is an extremely energetic dog. I know she's a handful and she is always greeted with such love, as if she is their dog. With Matilda's energy and lack of grace comes ample opportunity for injury. With daily body checks, I have been alerted to things I would have never noticed on her (like a growth) and paws are treated before they get too raw (my dog literally never stops running) They are thorough and thoughtful with my Matilda. I'm always impressed that they know every dog by name.

Literally this place is the best. I am a very anxious dog owner when it comes to having my dogs taken really good care of and here they go above and beyond at all times. My dogs are always worn out after going there. I never feel as though that they are unsafe with any other dogs. All of the staff are very professional. If you are a nervous dog owner like I am LOL I promise you that this place will take very good care of your pets!

We've had great experiences with green beagle. I think they do an excellent job tiring out the pooches so they sleep well. There are always plenty of handlers around to play w/ and monitor the dogs. We wish they had web cameras. However, they do a great job updating Facebook with pics of the weekend festivities. All the pics show happy/relaxed tails on the dogs. Our dogs never hesitate at check-in. Prices are a bit steep; frequently no-vacancy on weekends.
