Daycare: Frequently Asked Questions

You can make a request for specific days of daycare by logging in to your Owner Portal and navigating to the Daycare section. If you do not yet have an Owner Portal or you are a new client, you can create your own account by visiting our Join Our Pack page.

Alternatively, you can reach out to us by the web chat in the bottom right corner of this page or visiting our Contact Us page.

We allow cancelations until 3pm on the day prior to the reserved daycare day without penalty.  Any cancellations made after this time or absences on the scheduled day will result in a day taken off the current daycare package, a charge for the service to the credit card on file, or a debit placed on the account.

For our Daycare Classes, billing is completed for the whole month at the beginning of each month. Much like a subscription service, your enrollment will still be active even if you miss a few days. There is also no penalty or fee for missing Daycare Class days and we will not cancel your enrollment due to any missed days.

Yes! All puppies must be 16 weeks or older, have completed their series of adult vaccines, and have a current negative fecal test. As with our adult participants, we will perform an assessment to determine the best playgroup and options for your puppy’s daycare.

Absolutely! We are happy to schedule a grooming service for your pup during their daycare session. This can be scheduled through your Owner Portal when you request a daycare reservation.

If your dog is a puppy under one year of age or has a medical condition that requires three meals per day, we are happy to provide that meal during their mid-day rest. All lunches must come in a plastic container labeled clearly with your dog’s first and last names.

We do not administer supplements or vitamins for pets who join us for daycare. However, any medically necessary or timed medications (oral or topical) can be administered while at daycare. If you would like us to medicate your dog, we require that you provide the medication in the original over-the-counter or prescription bottle. To administer medications, we require a completed Medication Form.

At the Lodge, your dog’s safety and comfort are of our utmost concern. Once your dog has gone through their initial assessment and has spent some time in our daycare program, it may become clear that daycare is not a good fit for your dog. We might suggest an alternate play option, socialization training, or half-day instead of full-day daycare. In rare cases, we may suggest alternate dog care, such as dog walkers.

Much like a subscription service, your enrollment will still be active even if you miss a few days. There is also no penalty or fee for missing Daycare Class days and we will not cancel your enrollment due to any missed days.

We do accept unaltered dogs with the following limitations:

    • Any unaltered male who mounts excessively or shows dominant or aggressive behaviors will not be able to join group play.
    • Any unaltered female cannot return to the Lodge for any services until at least 30 days from the start of their last heat cycle.

We will inform any owner of the physical or behavioral changes we see in the off-leash play environments during lodging or daycare, but please consult your veterinarian for the best plan for you and your pet.

Your 10 Day Full or Half Day Daycare Pass is associated with you as the owner and not a specific pet. Any dogs who attend daycare under your account will subtract from the same 10 Day pass until it is empty.

If you have multiple dogs you would like to enroll in the same Daycare Class, we will schedule all dogs at the same time and set up billing for two of your chosen classes per month. We currently do not offer any discount for multiple pets to attend Daycare Classes. You will receive an email receipt for the transaction each month.

For all first-time enrollments, please complete our Daycare Class Enrollment Form. Our Client Care team will review our availability and assist you in enrolling your dog and set up your billing for the quarter.

Daycare Class enrollment is a monthly payment through the end of the current year. There are no additional steps to continue enrollment.

If you wish to opt out of our classes, please reach out to us by the web chat in the bottom right corner of this page or by visiting our Contact Us page.

Our Daycare Classes are designed as 13-week programs. Instead of paying a lump sum for your 13 weeks of daycare, we will divide the cost of the class over 3 payments, due on the first of each month. When you enroll, our Client Care team will set up a recurring billing cycle through your PetExec account; we will require you to keep a current credit or debit card on file for billing. Once your card is on file, there is nothing else you need to do! You will receive an email receipt for the transaction each month.

Any days outside of your Daycare Class can be added individually based on availability. The charge for those days will be separate from your class billing cycle and can be paid either per day or via a 10 Full Day Daycare Pass.

If you have multiple dogs you would like to enroll in the same class, then we will schedule all dogs at the same time and set up billing for two of your chosen classes per month. We currently do not offer any discount for multiple pets to attend Daycare Classes. You will receive an email receipt for the transaction each month.

We do not provide a pro-rated refund for unused days on a Daycare Pass.

We do not provide a pro-rated refund for Daycare Class months for which billing has already been processed. However, we are happy to assist in canceling any future billing for the quarter.
