Grooming: Frequently Asked Questions

To schedule an appointment, simply visit our Schedule A Groom page. Here you can complete a quick quote form as well as provide any specific information regarding your request.

All pets must be dropped off within 30 minutes of your appointment time. Upon check-in, we will discuss a scheduled pick-up time with you. We also will call you when you pet is ready for pick up. All pets must be picked up 1-2 hours after you are contacted or a half day daycare charge will be added to your invoice. We will provide bathroom breaks and fresh drinking water until you are able to pick up and throughout the grooming appointment.

Pets visiting our spa who are not picked up before our lobby closes will be boarded overnight; applicable boarding rates will apply. 

To ensure the safety and happiness of all our guests, the following in-date vaccinations are required for any visit to the Lodge: 


Dogs:  

    • Distemper/Parvo 
    • Rabies 
    • Bordetella 
    • Current Negative Fecal Exam 

Cats: 

    • Rabies 
    • Feline Distemper 

All pets must be in good general health to visit Green Beagle Lodge. Any pet known to have been exposed to a contagious virus must wait 30 days or until written clearance by his or her veterinarian is given before visiting the Lodge. If internal parasites are discovered, the pet will be quarantined and the owner will be called to discuss treatment plans.

These records can be requested from your vet and uploaded directly to your Owner Portal. Alternatively you can ask your veterinarian to send them directly to us at pbforms@greenbeaglelodge.com.

Grooming plays a key role in keeping your pet happy and healthy. Depending on breed, age, coat, and certain health conditions, it is recommended for pets to be groomed every four to six weeks. Our grooming team would be happy to discuss an appropriate grooming schedule for your pet. 

We always use hypo-allergenic shampoo, but it might help to add an occasional mud bath to your pet’s skin and coat health regimen. We will be happy to use any vet-prescribed shampoo you bring for your pet as well. 

Absolutely! We are happy to schedule a grooming service for your pup during their daycare session. This can be scheduled through your Owner Portal at any time.  

  • If you need to cancel or modify any scheduled service for your pet, we require that you do so at least 48 hours (about 2 days) ahead of check-in 
  • Cancelling a service within 48 hours will entail associated penalties and fees  
  •  
  • Costs will result in a charge for the service to the credit card on file or a debit placed on your account. No other services will be scheduled or accepted until this debit is cleared from your account. If you cancel your grooming or training reservation within 48 hours, you will be subject to a $50 charge to your account.
